Boston and Chatham, October 5-7, 2019
Realizing that my free weekends will soon, for the most part, be coming to an end, I treated myself to a weekend off-island, starting with a quick stop at Best in Plymouth for Caravan servicing, then on to my usual haunts - Bunratty in Reading, Mass at St. Paul's, Harvard Square; Hennessey's, downtown; then back down to Chatham to play with the Squire gang - fulfilling both my need to see friends and play music, as well as allowing me to test the new EOS R - both its low light capabilities, as well as the silent shutter option; also testing the new Note 10 + (performances of both, I can now report, were excellent). I was also glad to have a visit with Brookline friends on Saturday night. All in all it was a great couple of days, feeding me musically, socially, artistically, and spiritually - my favorite combination.
The Bunratty session, with Terry and Emily and many friends, was a great time.
Boston, Sunday morning, from Wollaston Beach
A gorgeous morning for roaming around Cambridge.
Out of Town - which will soon be no more.
Onward to Mass at St. Paul's.
It was an honor to have been asked to photograph the boys.
Then on to Hennessey's to play with Cliodhna and the young guns of Boston...
And now we come full circle, back down to the Cape to play with Rose and Gene and company. Always fun!
Monday morning walk on the beach in Chatham,
And home again, home again, jiggedy jig.
